As an irregular reader of the many interesting contributions (and an occasional contributor) I am writing with the sad news of the death of Crispin Jones, 56, son of the late Brangwyn Jones. He was only a pupil at WBS for one year (1968 -69)and was in form 1AF. I have no other news. He has been living in Jersey for nearly thirty years.coming to the Island when his mother married a Jersey resident, but remaining here when she left to re- marry in the UK

I was sorry to hear about Crispin Jones; I was in 1AF at the end of the 68-69 year (my arrival at WBS). 1AF that year was a great class with Mr Fox.

Does anyone know where Tony Wooffitt might be? I was an American day student in the late 1960's and currently line in Tennessee. Would love to hear from former friends!!

Any Americans? To name a few I remember Gary Gardenhier(sp), Lean Frohan, Melanie Munday, David Curren to name a few. Also in this walk down memory lane does anyone remember the song"Puppet on a String"? I still remember hearing it in the halls of Hillsborough House!!

Allen, I think Tony Wooffitt is on facebook, there’s also a thriving group there, the ‘Hamm Gang’, specifically for the American/Dupont ex-Windsor day bugs. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all former inmates of Windsor. Be safe and have fun.

Hi to Gerry "Boots" Kelly and all ex Windsorites. It's good to hear from you, even though most people now appear to use facebook (which is not for me) I will be spending Christmas and New Year in Fuerteventura getting some winter sun on my back. In fact, we fly out tomorrow. Good job we have "house sitters! It would be so nice to hear from, and meet up with, people like "Boots" from the early sixties. Chet Chetwynd, Wolly Wollaston,to name but two. Please keep in touch via this site, or we might lose it! A very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to one and all, or as they say where I'm off to "Felice Navidad" y "Felice Ano Nuevo" (there should be a squiggly bit over the n - otherwise it means something different) but I can't find it on the keyboard!?

I was in Hillsborough at the same time as you. I am struggling, however, to put a face to the name. I liked your post, the "halls of Hillsborough" brought back such happy memories.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, wherever you may be.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne!

For auld lang syne, my dear, For auld lang syne.
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet For auld land syne.

And there's a hand my trusty fere! And gie's a hand o' thine
And we'll tak a right gude-willie waught For auld lang syne.

(Shortened version) Hope this finds you hail and hearty!

Just spotted 07 Jan 2012 post by Robert Locke (E63-66). We used to share a dorm together in Edinburgh House and always wondered what became of him etc when he left. I have let my membership of the society lapse and have lost touch with many that I met up with at reunions in Newbury and on the memorable visit to Hamm. Always kept an eye out for Robert at the reunions or on members list so it would be great to hear from him or from anyone else that can remember me. Will rejoin so contact details will be available but currently living in Chandlers Ford near Winchester and close to Bob Jordan. Best wishes and Happy New Year
