I was at Windsor Boys School in the 60s my house was Sandringham. I began as a day boy and then as a boarder when my father was posted to a different part of Germany. I have just seen a photograph of the school as it was when I was there, it is exactly as I remembered it. Many thanks to the people who have taken the time to make this site a reality. I was a very poor student and found out only much later that I had learning difficulties. I was constantly in trouble as I was thought to be a trouble maker, leaning problems were unheard of back then. I was born in or should I say on Gibraltar and by the time I left school in England at the age of 15 I had attended 13 schools, my parents then emigrated to Australia in 1967. My older sister attended Windsor Girls School at the same time. I was hoping to get some help in pinning down the actual time I attended the school. All my records were lost in a house fire in Australia where I now reside with my wife of nearly 40 years. Can anyone help me. I feel like I don't exist and never went to WBS. Does Anyone remember me? I was on the 4th floor of Sandringham, memory is so bad needs lots of help. I remember I was a pretty poor student, terribly homesick. I turned 60 last June. The only name I remember was a boy in my dorm named Potter or Potts. There was a terrible bully in our class, looked like a mountain to a skinny runt like me at the time. (love to meet up with him now) just for a friendly chat of course. Can't remember his name either. Oh please someone, I know I was fairly insignificant back then and very young. Any help will do. Can class records be obtained? Happy Christmas all you Windsorites Kind regards

Hi! and a Merry Christmas and New Year to all who was at Hillsborough during the period that i spent my final schooling years. The greatest schooling days that i ever had and the only school that i learnt anything! It's been afew years since i was last on this site but often read the visitors section incase a name is known! Dont seem to get many Hillsborough students on the site from 1973 - 1976. But some of the names i do recall are: Ian Griggs, Ian Martin, Molly Graham, Steve Pegram, Bob Macormick, John Gay, Kev Keegan, others i can still see the faces but names have long gone! It's very sad to see what has happened to the school, like a part of me has died and can not be replaced i wish that i had gone back to recall the young days, now it's all a memory.

Hi Chris, good to hear from an old room mate! Came across a couple of photos recently of you me and John Henderson in the dorm before a 6th form society do. Looks like it involved a bottle of vodka and may have resulted in a couple of groundings! (sorry Mr Thompson). The Fender didn't last much beyond a couple of years after leaving Winsdor unfortunately. I have never been to a re union although I was in touch with Bobby H briefly on friends reunited. Will try to get to the next one though

Just wanted to say now that Christmas is over hope you all had a good time and that snta brought you all that you wished for. Wishing you all the best for the New Year. It will be 50 years next month when I arrived as a wet behind the ears first year sprog in Sandringham House. I was in the "Monkey dorm" on the top floor for 4 terms, psychologically scarred for life!! or was that physialogically scarred? possibly both. It couldn't have been that bad as I'm still around to remember the good times, even went back after my time in Singapore.Bruno.
