I am sending this on 8th October 2010. Exactly two years ago there appeared in the local German paper, which mentioned WBS in the article that followed entitled 'Aus England' ' 'Frieda und Donaldson Theaker feiern heute ihre Diamanthochzeit'. Staff and pupils of 60's will remember this delightful couple ( Frieda ran the School Post Office/ Tuck Shop, and Don acted in a caretaking capacity ) with great affection and would wish, albeit two years later, to add their congratulations and send their good wishes to the happy couple. The article also contained a photograph. Unfortunately it is a photocopy and not a good one at that, otherwise I would have attempted to reproduce it. Sixty + two more years of happy marriage is a real cause for celebration. Deo gratias!

OK, I've just renewed my membership for the next 3 years. Does that give me a voice? I'm asking for a Windsor Society reunion to take place in the next 18 - 20 months. That means if not June 2011 then June 2012! I know they take some organising, but there has been some great mini reunions over the last few years, and I'm sure some of those organisors would be happy to help? Newbury was a great location but there are others, central England, North West, North East, South Coast??? What do other fully pid up members, and members that I'm sure would become fully paid up if it meant a great reunion!!?

Where to start! It would be great to catch up with friend from my days at Windsor Boys. I have recognised quite a few names from the members lists. I would particularly like to catch up with Gerald Stone (Marlborough), Paul Wharton (Sandringham), Mark James Rossbotham (Sandringham) and Sandy Mair (Marlborough. I am in touch with Tom Williamson (Edinburgh) if anyone wants his details... If anyone wishes to get in touch please do. Russ. Others Julian Taylor, Philip Salt,James Hennessey, Nick Briscoe, Steve Thomas to name a few. I can see that Ernie seems to have a fair bit of input into the site (Mr Hern - Maths!). Mr Bugden and Mr Kitchen ohhhh scary. Just read posts from Noddy Holder and Mac.. Not sure whether you'll remember me as I was only with you guys for the 4th year in Marlborough.. you both went soon after that. I was at Windsor until 79! Pascal Quigley is another blast from the past.. anyone remember Ashley's surname?

Echo Nics post! Don't mind paying subs.. Understand alot of hard work is involved! How about sharing the workload to people that are interested?...We could incorporate lots of other networking sites!..Loads of people would help!! 2012 would be a great year!

I agree with Nic and Julie's comments, the only thing i would say is it would be better to have a reunion somewhere more central to try to make it easier for travel for everyone. I have also just paid my subs until 2015. It would be great to have a reunion and i would be happy to help.
