Hey Beth Oxford. Of course I remember you. As I recall you lived next door to the O'barrs. You can review my epistle I sent to the visitors page in May, 04 that's goes over some of the names you mention. I live 4 hours North of you in Delaware.

Hi Doug,

The girl who is numbered 14 is me, Janet Jenkins B72 -76.
I had left an email for you a few weeks ago. I guess you did not get it. your message was published in September .. DP I wonder if you could get in touch with Janice Lewis (Moser) M70-76 and see if she could add my name. Your name has been added to the prefects picture on the Windsor Girls School page - many thanks. There are still some names to be added. Are any of you out there?

What a surprise tho to find this website after all these years! Happy Holidays!
and the same to you Janet!

I am an American that attended as a day student. My father worked for the DuPont Company and I attended WBS from 67 to 70 in Balmoral House. I played rugby for the school, and we even had a game between the Brits and the Yanks (unofficial). Fred Rodgers and Mr. Wormsley were our coaches. I remeber Tim Buckley and the guys in Jack's Union. I was sorry to hear that Fred Winkworth has passed away. I'm back in the states, I live in Pennsylvania, I'm a network administrator for Winterthur Museum ( www.winterthur.org ) just outside of Wilmington Delaware, it's an old DuPont Estate and I'd love to hear from people, I can't even find half of the Americans that attended.

Hi Ralph Bennett here.
I was at WBS from about 1962 thro to 1968 and served my time in Marlborough house with at one stage my 3 brothers.James,Peter, and David whilst my little sister Christine was down that well trodden path at the WGS.
I want to wish all former students and staff a wonderful Xmas and New Year especially Peter Kitchen our house master and his wife Margaret.Thank you for your card and message.
I'am still as energetic as ever despite the usual tell tale signs of ageing and I'd be happy to hear from anyone who was around WBS/WGS at the same time.

Hi Doug,
I just came accross this site, its quite amazing after all these years. I'm Peter Clemmet 1963-64 and a member of Edinburgh House I was 15 at the time. It only seems like yesterday!!!!! I wish, not the school but the years, I'm now 56 and a naturlized American living in Florida. I remember our house master "Swish Cutler" and the dance's we attended at the Girls School and being told not to get within six inches of them. Also a boy in the next dorm who played the character Ralph, opposite Piggy, in the original black and white film version of Lord of the Flies, bet you didn't know that.Oh yes I did ... he is James Tregidgo (member no. 1241) acting name James Aubrey... DP

Best wishes,

Peter Clemmet (E63-64)

Merry Christmas from down under. The Large sisters (Patricia and Carol) from Hillsborough wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Still have not located any old friends from 69-72. One thing I have not had to worry about for the past 31yrs is ice and snow, we will just be a little warm with
35 degree heat ... how absolutely awful for you (!) ..., but will enjoy being with family and friends.

As there are not many messages from the 60’s – just so you know that some of us are still alive - I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Windsorites across the board a Very Merry (not too merry) ... why not? ... Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year.

Just like to wish all ex-windsorites a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope that you get what you asked for from Santa (or however bring you the presents). Don't drink too much, leave room for tomorrow. Don't eat too much, just in case another mince pie calls. Don't dance too much (not like me and finish up limping for a week).

But Do enjoy yourselves

I didn't have a lot of time to get on here and wish everybody a happy Christmas but I hope you all had one. My wife and I had a fantastic one. Both boys home and together for the first time in 11 years and they had their respective fiances with them. Wedding on Friday (New Years Eve) and another on 30th April next year.
Well done Bruno!! So it wasn't gout then? Just trying to emulate young people. You should know better at your age. :o))
